What to expect at a Capital One Arena event

Upon arrival, the Capital One Arena welcomes you through its glitzy exterior and multiple entrances. The main gateway on F Street, known as Abe Pollin Way, sets the stage for an eventful evening. Additional entrances are located on Seventh Street and the Gallery Place mall, offering various access points.

There are designated lanes for priority members and Capital One cardholders to streamline access. The arena has adopted a mobile entry system, so, unfortunately, they do not allow paper copies or PDF screenshots. If in doubt, please head to the box office with proof of purchase and your ID.

Capital One Arena also operates as a cashless venue. All kiosks and refreshment areas accept major credit and debit cards alongside mobile payments, ensuring swift and secure transactions.

Inside, the arena’s atmosphere is intimate yet exciting. There’s a vast high-definition video screen with a loud, clear sound system for replays and closeups. It never feels overcrowded, although you may have to wait for refreshments and restrooms during breaks in play at sporting events.

Please note that those attending hockey or basketball should avoid moving around in seating areas during gameplay, ensuring everyone enjoys the game without distraction.
