Lil Baby took to Instagram to share the news of the highly-anticipated summer tour. The trailer shows him floating and relaxing in the pool as he comes up with an idea for a massive tour. Lil Baby then proceeds to FaceTime The Kid Laroi and GloRilla, along with rising stars of hip-hop Hxncho, Gloss Up, and 4P’s Rylo Rodriguez. During the call, he asks these performers if they would be down to join him on tour. The call then ends with Lil Baby’s ecstatic statement, “This Fasho Gone Be A Highlight Of The Summer!”

This massive tour comes after Lil Baby completed a groundbreaking trek with Chris Brown for The One of Them Ones Tour last year. The outing traveled to over 20 cities in North America. Although this previous trek was already a monster tour, Lil Baby follows it with a major headlining tour with gargantuan proportions. The IOU Tour will feature Lil Baby’s latest effort, It’s Only Me, released last October. The 2022 record topped the Billboard 200 and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It also entered the charts in 19 other countries. The album, which is now certified platinum in the U.S., spawned hit singles “Heyy” and “In A Minute,” both charting impressively on the Billboard Hot 100.

It’s Only Me follows Lil Baby’s highly-successful sophomore album, My Turn. The record was the rapper’s first studio effort to go number 1 in the U.S. The record also featured several singles, including the monster hit “Woah, “Sum 2 Prove,” and “Emotionally Scarred.”

Next up on the list of performers for the IOU Tour is The Kid Laroi. The Australian rapper and singer is best known for his megahit single, “Stay,” performed with Justin Bieber. The single, released in 2021, topped the Billboard Hot 100 and two other Billboard charts. In addition, the song also went number 1 in 26 different countries. The album later earned several multi-platinum certifications, including a nine-time platinum status in the U.S.

Lastly, Grammy-nominated rapper GloRilla is the belle of the tour. The critically-acclaimed hip-hop artist is known for her crunk/trap staples. She rose to prominence last year after releasing the hit song “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” with Kitkidd. In the same year, she released her highest-charting single, “Tomorrow,” which peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song later was later certified along, along with “F.N.F.” Both singles are featured in GloRilla’s debut EP, Anyways, Life’s Great, which peaked at number 11 on the Billboard 200.
