Davido's impact on the music industry is wide-reaching; from entertaining fans in Africa to crossing continents such as Europe and North America, fans love his music that incorporates Nigerian and African rhythms with pop music. He initially broke onto the scene with the smash hit Dami Duro, which had dance floors packed when it came on and was probably the hottest wedding entrance song in Africa. The single became so hot that it broke out of Africa and gained international success after being remixed by the likes of Akon and winning Hottest Single of the Year at the 2023 NE Awards.

The single came as part of his first studio album, Omo Baba Olowo, which featured a mixture of trendsetting hip-hop and afrobeats. The album introduced the world to a new type of music with seven incredible singles, including his aforesaid smash hits and other notable mentions such as “Ekuro,” "Gbon Gbon," and "Feel Alright."

In early 2016 and 2017, he signed a deal with Sony Music as well as RCA Records, created his own record label, Davido Music Worldwide, and released an EP and several singles. During that same period, he also signed Peruzzi, Yonda, and Dremo. One of his singles that was released during this time, "Fall,” became Billboard's longest charting Nigerian pop song.

By 2019, his name had become so big that he sold out the O2 Arena in London, becoming the first solo artist out of Africa to do so after Wizkid in 2018 and releasing his second studio effort called “A Good Time." 2020 saw his follow-up, his third studio album, ”A Better Time."

Currently, his fourth album and the reason for this tour, Timeless, is out. The album focuses on the genre of amapiano, featuring a mixture of deep house, jazz, and kwaito, but also contains other genres such as ragga, dancehall, afrobeats, and konto. It contains 17 phenomenal tracks, and critics have praised it for being one of Davido's most accomplished pieces of work yet.

For a great time of African-inspired beats be sure to grab your tickets right here and now before it is too late.
