Grammy Award-winning rapper Nas has released 15 studio albums, ten of which have achieved gold, platinum, and multi-platinum in the United States. His debut album, Illmatic (1994), has received universal acclaim and is considered one of the best hip-hop albums of all time by critics, fans, and even his peers. Throughout his three-decade career, Nas has earned 15 Grammy nominations. His 12th studio album, King’s Disease (2020), finally won him his first Grammy for Best Rap Album. With his long list of hits, awards, and achievements, there is no question why Nas is regarded among the best rappers to have ever lived.

The Wu-Tang Clan is a highly influential hip-hop collective known for popularizing the East Coast-style of rap. Wu-Tang Clan has released seven studio albums. Their debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) made an immediate breakthrough on the Billboard charts despite its underground appeal. The album’s commercial success led to a highly-anticipated sophomore effort. Wu-Tang Forever, which was released in 1997, debuted at number 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. It was later certified quadruple-platinum, after selling over four million copies in the U.S. The group’s nine members comprise RZA, GZA, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Raekwon, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna – with each one is also running a successful solo career.
